Artec Industries winch plate
Smittybilt XRC gen 3 12.5k winch

The winch alone touches the grille. with the control box installed I do not see a way to mount it. Any suggestions?

The Warn plate comes with a half inch spacer for exactly that reason, are you sure you don't have one?

Didn't see spacers in the box. Instructions on Artec site don't mention spacers?

My winch wires are right up against the grill as well. It’s been that way for almost a year with zero issues. Honestly I wouldn’t worry about it

I can't even get it to sit on the plate?

Oh ok yeah that’s an issue I couldn’t tell
From your picture. But I would agree with others as there should be some spacers. If I had put a few spacers on my bumper my wires wouldn’t be against the grill but to remove 200lbs is a major pain

I thought I had read somewhere that anything bigger than a 10K wouldn't fit.

With that being said, can you relocate all the wires to come out the passenger side of the controller to gain you enough space?

Thank you all for your help. I went through everything and found the spacers. That helped. I was able to jam it in, but didn't like how the cables rubbed against the grille.

I had some clear vinyl laying around and put a 4x4 sheet on that area. Now I have to wait for daylight to finish.

Thanks again for your help.
