I just noticed a 2026 Gladiator with standard automatic transmission has a starting price that is $1500 cheaper than a base 2 door wrangler with the only option being automatic transmission. That is a no brainer. Get the Gladiator. I am sure this was just a mistake, and jeep will fix it. And by fix it, I don't mean they will lower the price of the Wrangler but raise the price of the Gladiator. LOL

Thats good!! Pricing be all over the place these past few years with many people getting big discounts on higher end trims. I am glad they are becoming within reasons even thou our used value takes a big hit. We want more people to buy

As has been alluded to, prices are all over the place, even now after the Stallantis debacle in 2024 when prices were incredibly cheap on fully loaded vehicles.

More and more, MSRP means very little today. With all the published discounts and "hidden" dealer discounts, you really have to look at what the dealers are selling and advertising to get a better feel on actual purchase prices.

My general rule of thumb: Take the best advertised prices, bump them up by 5% for fees, tags, rebates that you probably don't qualify for and whatever they can squeeze out of you. Then get your offer price (plus state taxes) and you should be good.

In this world and market, I would never say never.

I had absolutely no intention on buying my '24 JTR until I saw the prices were getting so low based upon all of the incentives on unsold inventory. I had planned for a month to purchase a '24 Max Tow that a dealer had advertised for 30,500. I wanted it, could afford it, and it would do what I needed it to do. But when I went to buy it, the dealer said I had to wait until the recall on the screen/gauges was replaced. I went back several times and the Gladiator was just sitting in the rear of the building. Days went on to weeks, weeks to a month or more until at my last visit to the dealer they said it was not repairable and had been "sent back."

Anyway, for a little over $10k more, I found a JTR at another dealer with a list of $66.5 that I just couldn't resist.

When you get about 25k off the MSRP of a 66.5 JTR, you can find a way to make it work.

What most folks don’t realize….(unless you buy way too much from Amazon)…☺.
Prime day prices aren’t much different than if you bought it 5 months earlier.

They’ll raise the prices as they approach prime day, then lower them back to normal on prime day to make you believe you’re getting a good deal.

It’s Marketing……. supply & demand….. or they’ll offer you something cheap and hope you’re spend more money on all this other shit that you don’t need. 😆

Yea, you walk away holding your butt, it seems to hurt a lot, but they tell you it really feels good and you walk away smiling.

I bought my '22 JTR in 4-22 when the value was sky high. Paid 60K + T&L so about 67K OTD. Then the Mods began. Look at my signature . Guess another 15-20K. Do I really want to even think about a new 26,,, LOL. When/if the v8 ever hits it would cost me way too much to do the change.
