They ARE listening - and a few on forums and fakebook doesn't constitute profit for a large automaker where the JT is a niche product as it is.
Their bread and butter is Wrangler and Ram - sure not the Gladiator.
But it's like the rest of the country where a vocal minority..............................

Looking at this, and a fellow from California I know can chime in - steering wheels are standard in everything except Mojave and under Mojave, the steering wheel says it's not available - N/A
So if you order a Mojave, beware you do NOT get a steering wheel -

It's supposedly in the 26 JLU. If the JLU we just ordered was for me and not my wife.....but due to handicap, her license restricts her to automatic. Don't tell the cops she used to drive my Comanche.......

As a family with 2 Jeeps, I'm sure like many of you we get a lot of questions about Wranglers and Gladiators from family and friends.

I recently had a discussion with a friend who is considering a Sport or Sport S Gladiator but is on a tight budget. The more I dug into the 2026, I told him this is a great package considering what you get even at the lower level (compared to the previous models).

Unless you go bare-bones base, for 2026 you get standard LED headlights (which is a big deal IMO). Also you get the large 12.3" 2024+ screen which was Gawd-awful in the lower models before...

Plus some other additions like the '41 Willys (now on Gladiator) and what appears to be the XTreme Recon package (coming at some point - below) and the quick-release door hinges. Yes the 2026 doesn't have a V8, but for newcomers to the model, it's a decent set of packages.
