I ordered my JT without the bed outlet because it wouldn’t support what I was gonna use it for. I finally got around to installing a Jupiter 2000 under my driver seat. Installation was similar to the ARB Twin compressor under passenger seat.

Keep in mind your 2 gauge primary wire is rated at 115A, and a 2,000W inverter can draw nearly 200A at full load.
Did you fuse your primary wire at 115A?

I have fuse and circuit breaker coming but couldn't resist trying it out.
Elec coffee pot will be the highest draw device I will power with inverter.

I wanted to make sure I wasn't pushing it too hard. I would rather use a small portion of the power than have it against the limit all the time.
The last inverter I used I just hooked up with jumper cables when we made coffee. It wouldn't run this new B+D pot we got so I bumped it up.

Not all 2K watt inverters are really 2K watt. And not all 1500W loads are really 1500W.

I found this out with a Keurig and my motorhome. I thought I had the load figured out correctly with the first inverter I bought and found out that the inrush current on the Keurig is close to 2000W and the Chinesium 2000W inverter couldn't handle it. I ended up with a 3K watt inverter and changed to a Cuisinart coffee maker to make coffee quietly.

Sure is a bit of work to make coffee. I carry a Jetboil Java myself, covers all my hot water needs.
