Yes, they all do. It's annoying when you don't want it to. You have to decline the request every time. It takes over the head unit once something gets plugged in.
Interesring. I never really paid much mind when the back seat used it. I’ll have to test it one of these days.

There should be four on the back side of the console. Two of them are only for charging.

I just started having problems with my iPhone unpredictably disconnecting from CarPlay.

I searched for previous posts, but most are 2+ years old.

Have there been any developments on this issue?
I bought some really good cables and the problem went away for the most part, I still have to plug in a couple of times before it connects sometimes.

I’ve noticed a couple problems with the standard Jeep JT/TJ style dash and center console system over a half dozen I’ve tested.
—The dash USB ports provide the highest and most consistent power
—All the other ports, moving towards the back become increasingly inconsistent. So, in order is the dash, bottom of the armrest console and then rear ports
- Better quality cables which have no deterioration of current work best. Cheaper or damaged cables multiply the inconsistency

There are USB ports in the back seat?

I don't spend much time in the back seat, but I've never seen USB ports back there. Maybe an option I didn't get?

Look on the back side of the center console. There should be four of them. There may even be an outlet back there.

They’re optional.
My Sport S has none of that stuff.
