I am thinking of buying some wheels and they are 17x9 -6mm > I am afraid they will sell them before I can make up my mind. my gladiator is in the shop so I dont have that info.

The outside edge of your wheel will be about 2.5" more outboard than they are now.

The outside edge of your wheel will be about 2.5" more outboard than they are now.
that means the stock wheel is not the same offset. ok. guess I can wait till I get the truck back out of the shop .

Factory wheel is roughly 5.75 backspace and 9 wide -6 is 4.75.
This is a comparison of OEM 285x70 vs 315x70 with the OEM wheel vs the wheel you are asking about. Some people want that stance so here’s what it looks like

I’m running 17x8.5ā€ wheel with +25 offset. Running the stock 33ā€ Tires (2024 Mojave). This combo is perfect for keeping the tires under the fender flares for PA State Inspections.

I don’t know what outcome you’re looking for….…but make sure youā€˜re aware of your State’s laws and/or inspections requirements (if applicable).
