That thing is going to be a reworked Cherokee pos.

Sorry I have 0 faith that thing is going to be anything other than a mom grocery getter.

And yes my work Cherokee is a pos, worst pile of crap I’ve ever driven only beaten by a Prius I got stuck with as a rental, now that was a steamy pos.

That pretty much nails it, with all the words I couldn't get together. I learned to drive stick in an 07 Wrangler. XJs were going through the disposable off roader phase at that point. Shame so many of them got chewed up. Whenever I go looking for a nice one, its sticker shock every time.

Agh, I know! A good clean one is over the top now. Not so long ago you could get them for a song. I'm sure many died the cash for clunkers death.

A good friend of mine from back in eastern CT is a hard core. hillbilly. (Hillbilly is like a redneck on steroids) He wheels the crap out of his. He made up his own trusses with some junk yard axles, a truss kit, and a borrowed welder. ha. I have huge respect for this kid.
