So, are there widespread reports of oil filter housing leaks on the JT (or JL)? I know this is a fairly common issue on the JK, but the 3.6 in the JT/JL has a different part number oil filter/cooler housing than the JK 3.6.
I see a lot of other problems trend higher than the oil filter housing leaks. In my opinion, it is not that common of a problem and not anything I think needs premptive fixing with any aftermarket all metal housing.

In the JK world, it is a huge problem. Some of the leaks occurred due to the housing cracking, nut the main culprit was the o rings crapping the bed. I do beleive FCA is on their 5th or 6th version of the part since they started the new style in 2013.

no, not problematic at all......all parts have like 8 revisions to them in like 6 years. Definitely not a sign of a deficient part.

Hopefully the latest parts are robust enough to not have an issue anymore...and I must say I haven't read much in the way of failures lately.......soooooo.
