No. Worse comes worse they just take the whole vehicle.

Robber is one who uses some type of force to take something from you.

Burglar is someone who breaks into something to steal from you.

You can't stop a thief who wants something from you. Your best bet is to stop a thief who just wants something from anyone. You make taking it from someone else easier than taking from you.

Store a slightly hungry rot/pit/Dober mix under the bed cover.

That will stop them, but then you’ll get sued for the dog bite.

Diamondback looks to be pretty secure.
Decked system (not a tonneau) looks very secure.

Decked will be most secure in keeping gear safe and locked in. Diamondbacks are also a good option as stated above. We can get ya whatever you need, shoot me a PM and I can help you figure out the best product to keep everything safe and secure.

If they want it bad enough they will cut it open, pry it open or worse.

There is no real way to stop crummy people, but thankfully rather than involving Mr. Colt we can just rely on insurance and the fact that we have things to look forward to in life outside of ruining someone else's day to make a quick buck.

No such device. The stronger you make the cover, the more damage they cause getting in to see what you're hiding.
You can slow them down and make it harder, but you can't keep a determined thief out.

Yes, there is. It's made of 1" plate steel with an electric pump to operate the hydraulic cylinders that open it.
You do have to install air bags in the rear and forget any payload or towing, but it would require a well equipped robber to get into it.

Things can be robber resistant, but if someone wants something bad enough, it will become theirs and not yours.

That one is actually easy for me and I have almost immediate access to the "key" to open it.

Great, I suppose you are a steel worker or maybe have a plasma cutter sitting next to your chair right now.
