It’s a scorcher!!! We get hot (low 90’s) in August, but this isn’t normal for us and its humid as shit!!
You step outside and you’re already sweating. Feels like 120 😳

I’ve got a couple days off and we’re prepping for our July 4th party - 35 people. The husband is outside getting the fireworks ready.
I’m all over the place, cleaning, cooking, organizing….. The poor JT is out in the sun (normally in the garage) while we organize & clean the garage.

Where ya at?
Stay safe and cool everyone! Drink lots of water/gatorade!

No one experiencing this heat??
Another 99 degree day today…..
Thank God for remote start!! It was surprisingly comfortable getting in it after the jeep was sitting outside in the sun all morning & afternoon.

SW Pa. reporting in. It's been 98F for most of the week with close to 100% humidity. Heat index is around 120F. My above ground pool is 94F, and I haven't been using the solar cover. It feels like bath water. Today, my weather station was says 98F. The thermometer under my patio cover was reading 106 in the shade. My citronella candles are all melted.

The Europeans understand now as to why we have A/C in everything.

People in Texas looking at you like, yeah, welcome to 4 months out of our year.
Seriously though, keep hydrated and as cool as possible. I have family in Wisconsin, and most don't have the A/C that we take for granted.

A/C has come a long way with those hybrid mini splits they have now. Not insanely expensive and as long as there’s sun on about 4-5 panels it’s running for free. Connects in on a 20A 240 breaker for nighttime use.

PA has an identity crisis…. It doesn’t know WTF it wants to be. 🙄
At least next week (here) is supposed to be normal-ish (80’s). But then again, the weather people can’t predict accurately a week ahead. 😣

I remember last year, we had 2 weeks worth of 95+ and no rain in the middle of JUNE!! It was crazy!! I’d expect this hot shit in August.

July 4th party tonight…35 people at the house. Got plenty of water & gatorade in the coolers. 🇺🇸

As much as I would love to live in Texas for a variety of things, thats one of the reasons why I won’t move there!! It’s too F’n hot!!!
