It's cold again. Guess who's back? Old St. Death Wobble. (edit-Not true DW, just a big shimmy)

I was able to get mine to calm down 95%. I inflated tires to 30 lbs and I can't tell if there was a slight improvement or if it was in my head. Checked all fasteners and did not find anything that felt out of spec. Ball joints and bushings all felt ok, no excessive play. I measured toe and had more toe in than expected. Slowly took toe out and test drove. It decreased as toe was moved out. Settled on slight toe out. I find it hard to believe that the alignment was the root cause though. I will keep looking this winter and probably go to some Clayton control arms come spring.

My gladiator with 9k has wobble again for the third time. It hit 50 degrees and its back. Can't take my kid to school in this. Piece of Garbage - paid over 50k for something i can't even drive 5miles safely. I have taken this in to dealership three times. is there any fix to this? I am at 35 psi its 48f degrees outside.

My "strong shimmy" started at 4000 miles everything stock on my new Sport when the temp got below 40 and my speed above 70 one bump in the road, and it started. It would go away at 65. The whole body would shake, and the steering would get really light but controllable. I didn't go to the dealer thinking they would never find it. In Texas, the temps don't get below 40 except for about 3 months and I had no problems. This is my second winter but now the shimmy started at 60 degrees and below and won't stop until I get below 60. Finally took my Gladiator to the dealer and they gave me a new steering damper. We will see if it did any good....
I'm sure it's just a Band-Aid.

I warm my tires up in the morning by driving side to side in my neighborhood street. Whether its a flat spot or whatever, I've noticed a significant decrease in the onset of the wobble. Mine is 100% in the tires. It's gone after the first few miles, doesn't reoccur when I come home from work.

In case it helps anyone, I have been continuing to work on mine. Went in for a road force balance after rotation and air didn't really help. Found all tires were off 4-6oz. I'm back to slight toe in, out from the 5/8 in I originally found, and it is a lot better. Slight shimmy at 60 especially over bumps but it doesn't work up into dw now. So one control arm mount was below torque spec, tires out of balance, and too much toe seems like it was the bulk of my issue.
