JCR Offroad roof rack installed

Installed the JCR Offroad short roof rack this past week. Initial impressions are that it is very well built and beautifully manufactured; extremely high quality. I got the short version because it works with the Sunrider. I admit that I’m not likely to actually use it for carrying anything; I bought it mostly for looks, and it looks awesome!

I'm thinking about this myself for a solar mount. Do you notice much increases wind noise ?

There's no wind noise on this rack... unless you mount a pelican horizontal and run a sunrider. I figured that out the hard way thinking it was the sunrider when in fact after trial and error realized it was wind bouncing off the pelican case I had. Love my rack though after two years. Only issue was rusting on the steel mounts on the rain gutters around the bolts as they are tightened down. Otherwise JCR makes good quality stuff and has great customer service.
