Hey Folks! Jeep Beach in Daytona starts today and continues through 4/26. It's only an hour away for me, so I'm going to head over but I haven't decided which day. Is anybody on here going to the event? If you're not going, is there anything you'd like to see? Maybe I can take some pics for you? Here's the link if you want to check it out. https://www.jeepbeach.com/

I’ll be there Thursday to Sunday. I usually set up on the beach with my son and his family at 0700 and we hang on the beach cooking 3 meals a day until it’s time to go home on Sunday. Every year I talk about going to the expo but the beach vibe always wins out. Good times for sure.

I’ll be there next Friday and Saturday. It’ll be my first so I’ll definitely do the expo at the speedway.

This will be my 6th jeep beach. Friday is always better than Saturday at the event as it has maybe half the people and it's easier to shop around and see the show plus the obstacle course doesn't usually have much of a wait.

Either way, this is an event we look forward to every year and the whole family loves going

My 1st time. We are in Florida also but about 6 hours from Daytona Beach down in Key Largo. We will be there Thur 23 April 2026 through Sun 26 April 2026.

My question, would it be better to take my '16 JKU Willys (soft top, half doors) or would a stock '24 Rubicon Gladiator be a better ride? (Since this is the Gladiator site, I guess there is bias towards the Rubicon).

I hear there are some obstacle courses and was just wondering which would be more fun.

Thanks for any comments!

Take whichever one is more comfortable and that you want to roll around Daytona and the beach in is what I'd say. Depending on if you plan on shopping I'd take the gladiator for the extra room to bring home stuff.

The obstacle course used to have lanes that ranged in difficulty from wagoneer doable to decently built jeep required and most of them were doable in stock wranglers/gladiators. Last year they switched it to be a big long winding trail that was very easy and was quite lame as it lost the spectacle of watching underbuilt jeeps try to tackle the hard lane. I'm hoping this year the lanes are back as I love thrashing whichever jeep we brought through it.

I'll be there starting Tues - Sun. You will most likely find me with the Outlaw Offroad crowd, as my Gladiator will be in their booth.

Are there good deals to be had on merch at the expo?
Best time to go on Friday?
How many hours should I allot myself there?

Thanks for the recommendations.

You did mention "watching underbuilt Jeeps try to tackle the hard lane" in prior years. Does that, in your opinion, exclude a basically stock Willys JKU (they have the Rubicon suspension and tires) that has not been lifted any further?

Just curious.

I think either would be fun. I'm going to head over today, but I might also go again later in the week. Hope you have a blast!!
