That's a crock of crap - a scare tactic. If it's not reported BY THEM, it won't show anything - and no, it won't be worded like that anyway. Man, the dopes that try to use CF as a way to sway people. They then said that the Carfax would show “body repair”. No thanks
They're just going to confirm the rear window is only covered for 12 months. I went through the same thing as you and @JeepCares just told me the dealer was right.Blair,
Thank you for reaching out. I’m hopeful that we can find an amicable resolution to my issues. I’ve sent you a PM.
I hope it’s a different experience, but as my father says, “hope is disappointment delayed.” Nothing yet from Jeep has been promising yet…They're just going to confirm the rear window is only covered for 12 months. I was only 8 days past the 12 month warranty, with only 5,000 miles on the truck. The worst part was I made my appointment before the 12 months was up, but they couldn't get around to looking at it until after it expired.
It's notI was unaware that a power slider is an option on the JT.
Do you have glass coverage?I hope it’s a different experience, but as my father says, “hope is disappointment delayed.” Nothing yet from Jeep has been promising yet…
Sorry to hear about your troubles.
You could fight that since the complaint was on record during warranty. That's the point of getting it in record fast. You showed there was a problem during the warranty period. They can't legally deny it.They're just going to confirm the rear window is only covered for 12 months. I went through the same thing as you and @JeepCares just told me the dealer was right.

It's not worth it. Time is money, and it's cheaper to get it fixed myself. All of the jeep dealers are months out on service appointments, and your "appointment" is just a drop off date. Then it will sit on their lot for a month or more with no loaner or rental vehicle, and if they decide not to warranty it, you get to start the multi month process all over again. You could fight that since the complaint was on record during warranty.
