THIS....ALL DAY THIS. The more complex it is the more it will likely break.

I wouldn't want the weight and extra parts and pieces to break. Talk about a hit to towing capacity, too!

Line lock I can see, that's probably just software.

I can do front brakes locked with the Tazer, I'm sure they just ported it over from the Challenger feature set. Yeah, I want to do a burnout on my BFG's, hahahah!

Makes sense on a HD truck but the last thing I want is 300# extra hardware on a vehicle already hurting for payload.

Wouldn't mind the Land Cruiser's turn assist though... would be nice to be able to pin a tire and reduce the turning radius a little on tight trails.

This isn’t a new concept, it’s an older one, and it always goes away...hard pass from me, too much complexity or potential issues for what amounts to a gimmick 99.9% of the time....same reason it won’t work for Jeep, uptake will be nill, the general Jeep buyer won’t have any interest in the small upsides for the small percentage of users.

The source is the "enthusiast" panel that Jeep emails surveys to. I'm on it as well. You get nothing from it, other than the privilege of responding to surveys. I said I'd take the the rear wheel brake turn, and I wouldn't pay extra because it's software and can be put in, for free, today, on every vehicle. The 4wheel steer would be a fucking nightmare with complexity and cost.

This is why the Bronco is so important. Jeep finally has to get up and innovate. Competition breeds a better product!

Seems like GMC went down that path some years ago, for a short time.
I would appreciate a tighter turning radius, and increased trailer backing capability, as long as its reliable.
GM had many problems with the system. Repairs were many and expensive. Very fragile system.

Gladiators are expensive enough already. No thanks.

JTs and JLs have enough steering issues already, they want to complicate it further?

No crab steering for me. I've used it on heavy equipment, but very rarely. So it would be even more rarely used on a consumer vehicle. Just to show off.

Jeep needs to focus on reliability of what they have, not introducing more moving parts....

I would get it if weren’t overpriced. There are lots of trails, famously Black Bear Pass, where you have to do multi-point turns. Eliminating Those would be great.

although, I’d just settle for my steering fixed right now.
