She did talk about the off road modes in the Raptor vs the 1 in the Mojave. And she touched on higher speeds through whoops in the Raptor vs the 40MPH in a Mojave offroad - didn't really compare the 2 trucks for what most people think they do or should do best. Try it at 60 or 80MPH in a Raptor and see how the Mojave does at those speeds

And I guarantee you the Mojave rides nothing like a Raptor ON road. It's one of the most comfortable riding trucks ever. And it's one of the reasons why it's so popular (compared to say an F-150 Platinum for example).

Yeah, I see allot of them (Raptors) here on the pavement, but almost never on off-road trails. They are overpriced and more of a mall crawling status symbol than anything else, IMHO.

Forget the Rubicon. The Gladiator Mojave will do 90 percent of what the Rubicon will while the Rubicon won't do half of what the Mojave will. This is the Gladiator you want. You'll have more fun in more situations than any other model.

Whatexit, since you may be the only person on here that has both, I thought I might ask you. I have a mildly modded 2018 Raptor that I love, and you're right, the ride quality is exceptional. Looks like you've got a JT with a 3+" lift and 37's as well. I'll likely have ADD bumpers, winch, RockSlide Eng. slider steps, a rear bed cap, hi-lift, maxtrax, etc(adds up to extra weight) on a JT next. How is the ride of your JT compared to your Raptor? What lift & shocks do you have?

Hopefully in the near future, Jeep will be offering the 392 Hemi in the JT, but now I'm spoiled and like to push it a little over RR crossings, off-road, while maintaining some nice cushy landings. The Raptor is my DD, but I do use it off-road during hunting season in South Texas, pulling a trailer with my Polaris RZR XP over washboard/ranch roads, and I will likely sell my RZR when I get the Gladiator. It'll be my daily driver, but I will still take it on O-R vacations to Moab and other destinations, just like my current. Raptor has done Moab for 2 years now, with no issues(leveled up 2 3/4").

Appreciate your input on this.

For starters, there's no comparison between a Raptor and a Jeep. Any Jeep. Many factors including, suspension differences (Jeep is solid axles front and rear while Raptor has independent front suspension), shocks, springs, wheel base, etc.

The Raptor rides like a "cadillac" on and off road and the Jeep well, it rides like a Jeep, banging and pounding over the rough stuff thanks to its compromised design making it an excellent off roader but giving it a less than great on road ride. Just drive them both on washboard and you'll know in a minute the huge differences between the vehicles' ride.

That said, I love them both and I"m glad/fortunate to have them.

My Gladiator has a 3.5" Metal Cloak Gamechager suspension lift. The only thing left to do on my Gladiator is the shocks - I'm running Metal Cloak RockSport shocks up front (they're not great) and the factory shocks in the rear while I decide on the shocks I'll go with. I'll likely go with either ADS or Kings. Definitely not Falcons or Icons. I could go with Fox, possibly.

Well damn, that sucks to hear. I was hoping to come close with some adjustable Fox Factory 2.5’s on a 3.5” Clayton Overland+ lift running 37’s, some extra weight from accessories, and a Hemi in front. Sounds like that caliber of smooth ride still ain’t gonna happen......appreciate the input!!

Hey guys. I like this topic because when ordering my Mojave, I pondered over the Raptor, but just couldn't justify that price gap. In my personal preference, I like my cars loaded up and the price difference between a loaded Mojave (like the one I got) vs a loaded Raptor was 20-25k. With that said, I still think the Raptor is one capable bad ass truck that would be dope to own one day. Also, this is my first jeep and it rides a lot better than I thought. All in all, loving my Mojave and can't wait to get out to some dunes soon!
