So far so good, I only have couple hundred miles on them.

I wanted a little taller than 33 but not 35's, snow rated with good road handling, hence the AT compromise. I've had them in the past (other rigs) and liked them.

I got the C rated vs the E, just don't need the E load rating on this and wanted a more flexible tire over all and slightly lighter (not by much).

The 285's stock don't rub at all. With the 4.10's pick up is ok, good drivability. Road noise is notice over the stock but not bad or clunk clunk clunk like a mud tire. Look good! I think. On factory rims they don't stick out at all but fill the width of the fenders.

I'm getting leveling on tomorrow should really round out the look.

Lots happened today!

Front spacer 1.5" teraflex and the daystar rear 3/4" with the Mopar replacement control arms, front, from the 2" lift kit done. As well as an alignment, was very close to spec.

So the "lift" kit is done. What I wanted was just a little more height over stock, with the 33.9" tires and spacers I should be apx 2 3/4" in the front and 2" + in the rear, over the stock height. This keeps the factory ride, and factory designed load carrying for the max tow package.

Also levels it just a bit, should bring the front up 3/4" vs the rear.

After measurements:

Rear call it 39 13/16" started at 39 3/16" net rear apx +5/8"

Front call it 38 3/4" started at 37 1/4" net 1.5" on the dot.

Wires!

Harness for the cowl lights came, got that run. I cut off apx 5' of it, the harness from Diode Dynamics is set up to run a switch, as I'm using the factory Aux switch I was able to just chop off the switch section.

Not a lot to see here as the lights have not shown up.

Simply ran the wire across the top of the eng bay via zip ties to those black plastic clamps, in the split loom. Looks good. If you didn't know to look you probably would assume it's a factory run.

Next up rear lights, from Oracle. I opted to wire to switch 4 so I can turn them on and off as I want vs to the reverse lights.

Last but not least, it’s a truck! Needs tie downs.

They are really slick, pre done so just screw in place and done!

While not flood lights, they are pretty bright and will do nicely fit lighting up a dark parking area, lighting up hooking up a trailer etc.

mooted fir just the front driver and passenger. I don’t haul kids or folks much and don’t see spending $300+ for them.

Simple install, I opted just to drop them off all together was simpler.

Radio mount, simple but works!

Todays project, radio. Installed a Midland MXT-275.

Antenna run was easy, fire walk plug was the easiest thing ever. Just popped out from the inside. I drilled a hole in it, ran the line and re installed it.

I mounted my unit up under the dash to the right of the glove box.

Running power to it off the aux power acc line and to the ground that’s right there.

I'm using a radio holder and mic mount on a ram ball that goes to the grab handle bolt.

Puts the mic right at my fingertips but down with no cables or unit in my field of view. The extra radio holder give me my scouter radio and or a walk about coms for me.
