The background first...
I did a fender chop on my Sport S non max tow. I figured I could make the bracket and add an LED light at a much cheaper cost. I was not wrong. All said and done it cost me about $65 and some time. At least that is what I thought.
I bought the Jscan and both needed adapters. I changed the front turn lamps and front marker lights to LED in Jscan. The LED strip i bought has amber and white lights. It has 3 wires. A ground, an amber power, and a white light power wire.
I initially hooked up the amber to both wires from the wiring harness. I then connected the marker to the amber wire and the turn signal to the white wire. With both of these connections the blinker would not work if the headlights and amber side marker was on. If I turned the headlights off the blinker worked fine.
Is this a Jscan issue or a LED issue. I can't see how it would be the LED as if both receive power both should be on but maybe it is the LED strip. I just need some 2nd, 3rd, and more opinions on this.
