I have a 2021 Mojave edition with Oracle tailights I’m getting a turn signal not working on the dash every time I use them. The truck had an OBD max with the adapter installed by the previous owner so I went to JScan and paid licensing fee and everything connected perfectly, I went to the proper area and found several codes were there (also have LED signals in front, led headlights etc.) hit delete and they all disappeared except the two in the picture below which will not delete! I’ve tried several times but it won’t go away. I’m old and really don’t understand a lot of this stuff so any help would certainly be appreciated!

Did you have factory rear non-led lights? If so, did you enable the LED settings with JSCAN?

I assume he did, I bought it with everything the way it is now? How do I find the led settings in the JScan?

Update, I went in and checked and the LED settings were enabled so I went to the troubleshooting section and found you can disable trouble codes so I did that for the 2 rear turn signal lights that won’t go away. Now I’m sure I’ve got it!!! Nope still getting code on dash ? just crazy!!!

I'd not want to disable trouble detection - you'd never know if you had lights out, or a short, or other electrical issue back there.

You mention that the bluetooth adapter was already installed - is it installed on the OBD port on the left side of your left leg under the bottom edge of the dash?
Or did they install a security bypass cable and put the BT adapter on that?
Makes a difference!
You can't change things from the OBD port - you must have a security bypass cable installed for that.
I'd be shocked at any seller dumb enough to leave that expensive cable and adapter tucked up under the dash.

I'd be looking for a problem - the codes are popping up for some reason. Possibly the prior owner installed something wrong or there's a problem with the lights.

Have you checked - do the lights actually WORK? All functions - tail, brake, turn signal?

Your JSCAN should detect if you have a security bypass cable installed...

Yes everything is working as it should, and that’s how the screen looks when connected so I think I’m good but I’ve attached a pic of connectors if you can tell from that?
im definitely going to check actual connections at the tail lights next.
Thank you so much for taking your time and helping with this, I really appreciate you!!!

Yeah, but it really is such that someone can ignore it and figure "it will still do what I want" and move on. The "to enable all functions" doesn't really say "you can't do much".
On the other hand - there's parts of this story we don't know yet as well.

I still can't believe someone sold their Jeep with the cable and adapter still in place.

I assume by "OBD max" you mean the OBDLink MX+ ? ( OBDLINK MX+ )
I'm not familiar with any called "max".
The top of the adapter on the most recent picture is the logo on the top of the OBDLink MX+

Just so we are clear, if your screen looks like the one I posted above that says in red, "The vehicle is equipped in Security Module. To Enable all functions Security Bypass cable has to be installed. Tap to learn More." then you either don't have the cable you need, have the wrong cable you need, or it's not plugged in correctly.

It should look like this without the red letter warning...
