Please help! There are MANY excellent reads about towing on this forum, so many in fact I am a bit confused. Although I have had an RV for over 20 years, they have all been motorhomes. This is my first experience into towing. So here is what I am wanting to tow: Trailer UVW=4931# (which includes the propane as it comes from the factory this way. Hitch weight=497# Exterior Height=11'2", width=96", length=24'4". CCC=2566#. I have a Redarc Tow-pro Elite Electric Brake Controller installed on my JT and plan on using the Andersen WDH with Sway Control. The manual says that my auto transmission with tow pkg can tow 6000# with 600# hitch weight. I saw on one of the forums here that someone had added air bags. I might consider adding these if this would help with the weight. I travel solo or with my dog most of the time and don't load the truck bed very heavy, but do have a spray liner and roll-n-lock bed cover installed. I would love to hear from those JT Overland owners about your towing experiences and your opinions on this rig set up. I haven't ordered the camper yet, but do have the JT.

Can you be more specific on what you are confused about?
By reading this towing section for a long time your weight will not be a problem but what the air resistance of your camper will be and where you tow it may be compared to towing with bigger engined rig.
