Done this poll on many forums. Can’t help myself as I find statistics interesting.
On a BMW motorcycle forum for a bike that was advertised for younger riders,
it surprised the members to find the median age was close to 50.

So far these numbers don’t surprise me. It’s obvious, we are all having a mid life crisis!

Mid life crisis? Ha, I think we getting to the age where we can FINALLY afford to buy one of these things. I don't know about many of the rest of you, there's no way I could afford one of these in my 20's or early 30's.

Yeah, that’s the same for me. Plus I never grew out of playing with toys. And the gladiator is a great big toy to me.

I’m interested in how these results turn out. I’m sure the vast majority will be in the over 40 crowd, as that tends to be the point where most people have the ability to “splurge” on something like a Gladiator. As someone in their mid twenties, I’m definitely fortunate to be in a position to own a Gladiator, and glad to share this community with people from all walks of life.

Yep, my son is like "I want a Gladiator as my first car". I told him wont happen and he didn't understand. I was like you know how you have to wait to be 16 to drive, wait about 16 more years after that and you can get one. blew that little kids mind. lol

It honestly even blew my mind a bit just thinking about how I had been driving for 16 years before I actually got a car I really wanted.

Same here, being enlisted didn't not make for large paychecks. They once I started making real money, we had kids.

Now retired and now working as a DoD contractor I'm finally in a good place (debt free, investments & retirement accounts funded).

I'm 30, I struggled for a long time justifying the cost. I can certainly afford it from an income standpoint but I've never purchased a new vehicle before. I've always bought used and did my own work, never had a car payment.

Had a discussion with my stepdad and he had a good point. "What's the point in making all that money, working all those hours if you don't ever buy something for yourself?"

Ordered one the next day...

I’m probably more in the 2/3 life crisis age (57). I believe on the JL side someone referred to it as a “live life” crisis. My wife & I have worked hard all of our lives, taken every bit of overtime offered to us. We have something to leave to our kids & grandkids. Time to enjoy ourselves. Our experience loosing several loved ones at relatively young ages is life is too short. They’re may not necessarily be a tomorrow, sad enough to say.
