Just ran into a possible issue with this. Bumper. You can’t replace the bolts. So since you need to space out the bumper a bit to get most winches in there, if it’s more than 1/4” or so, you’re SOL. Hopefully I’ll find enough room.

theres enough threads to fit the 3/8 thick plates. i just took off the barnes bumper

Just tried 3/8” plates. They fit the winch like a glove. Have to flex the grille to get past the fattest part of the winch. They do not leave enough bolt to catch all the threads on the nut. About 1/16 ish? too short and more than an 1/8th if you wanted to catch the nylon locking part. And that’s with the paper thin washer supplied with the kit. No chance for a lock washer most likely.
Looks like 1/4 is the deepest reasonable spacing.

apex winch? Did you relocate harness to exit the side of cover?

No but I will.
Point is, 3/8s spacer is too large due to bolt length.
This is the installed winch with 3/8”spacer and no washers allowing for full engagement of thread…. Pretty much.
Touching to a few mics on the front about 1/16 to 1/8 space on back. I’d call it perfect fit but for the 3/8 spacer being a bit large for my liking.
I’m sure that stellantis has like a solid half inch or more tolerance between vehicles. Mine might be on the short side of tolerance. So ymmv.
Also, harbor freight makes a fat winch for really no good reason. Any other winch will fit fine probably.

I went to checkout had this in my cart for a long time. Up 200$ and still no powder coating. Going with another option thats ridiculous pricing for a tube bumper. Its not aluminum or formed its simply toob.

Yea same...pretty sure I will go with the Cavfab Rampage now. I love my front bumper but I cannot fit in the garage with the stinger. Fingers crossed for a Labor Day sale ;-)
