We are staying in Ridgway for the week and will be meeting everyone at the trailhead each morning - let me know if you want to grab food or something Monday night. Depending on when we get in we may hit something easy and scenic like Last Dollar Road for wildflowers, grab pizza in Telluride and hit the hot springs when we get back to Ridgeway.

I am going to at Alta lakes. I want to do some drone flying and hiking with my little dude. Being in IT field I am trying to stay away from cell signal as long as possible ? here is my little dude.

Update from me: I outta be able to join for the first 2-3 days, doubtful I'll be able to make the entire trip as I've got other priorities calling since just moving to CO. I'll know 100% on monday the 25th, but I'm pretty sure it should work out. I'll be in my 2DR JK, ~2.5" lift, 35s, sliders, on board air, winch, and will use my ground tent.

Couple questions though.
-I have my HAM license and a CB in the jeep but no GMRS radio. Would anyone be willing to lend me a handheld for the time I'm out there for this trip?

-In addition to my good attitude should I bring a bottle of bourbon or scotch to share with the group?

Throwing most of everything in the Jeep tomorrow then going to my girlfriend’s place Monday. If it’s early enough we might head to the campground Monday as well but I suspect we’ll be meeting up in Buena Vista then the campground on Tuesday.

Trying to get the Jeep washed tomorrow and replacing my halogen bulbs for LEDs as well

In Junction City, Kansas making progress.

Check out castle rock in Kansas, about 3 hours each of Junction City. Not too far off I70. Google it sounds interesting for Kansas. I'm planning to hit it in a couple weeks on my way to CO. Some light off-roading to break up the pavement. Let me know what you think if you go.

Met a guy with a JK from TN who will be up there....he's on 40s. May tag along with us on Black Bear.

We've got plenty of summer and fall to get on the trails Will. Smaller crowds, cooler temps and fall colors are my favorite anyways. Get checked in and throw B co 2-12 IN the shaka for me if you happen to pass by the company area for me please
