Just finalized my order with Tom from Chapman Jeep. Hydro Blue Overland with saddle leather and loaded up (YOLO!). Can't wait! So happy to be free of the anxiety inducing Bronco/Webasto/Ford clusterfuck.

Now it's time to start looking for soft top options for the freedom panels and tire upgrades.

Can't go wrong with Tom. He's super responsive and updates you as he sees updates and has a nice discount on the Jeep. Sounds like a great build you've got coming your way

Looks like a VIN has been assigned and now… we wait.

Update today from dealer:

GREAT NEWS!!!! YOUR JEEP IS FINALLY IN TRANSIT!!! It's current ETA is TBD due to a hold up at the factory with not enough truck carriers for all of vehicles in transit. Once it touches ground I will let you know and we can set up a time for you to come and pick her up.

Anyone else get this message about a shortage of trucks/carriers?

My truck is in status KZLD which means transit is delayed so I guess the same as you

It's funny there is a shortage of truck carriers.....have you seen many dealer lots? Some are pretty empty, which means fewer vehicles being built/shipped. So trucks all went to do something else? Maybe carrying used cars around?

Shortage of drivers too. Just a shortage of everything right now. I wanted to eat clams yesterday and the seafood market was out of clams!!!

When i picked up my Glady on Tuesday the dealer said they are still getting a lot of deliveries, it's just not fast enough to build new inventory. I believe in July he said they turned 300-400 vehicles. Also mentioned they are encouraging people to order as they are getting customer orders far faster than the dealer orders. He was probably exaggerating, he is a sales person after all.

My dealers are still getting lot inventory but they come in 2s or 3s it seems like and they are gone within a week of hitting the lot.

One dealer in my city got 2 base Willys in the other day and a dealer near my GFs house had 3 high altitudes on the lot last week when I checked.

So I just got a text from my dealer today - apparently my JTR (ordered 7/12) "should arrive either the end of this month or the first two weeks of September".
My concern is the build sheet and window sticker tracker shows no movement. ?
UPDATE: It just hadn't updated for today - it shows a build sheet now! ?
