I just got a call from my salesman. The Jeep is at the dealership. Going there right after I pick up my kids from school! Very excited!
Wow! I ordered mine on 5/8, received VON and VIN 5/10 was told today by Jeep chat to check back in a few weeks. They said all the parts are there but no build date.
11 days from completed build? If mine get's here that fast the dealer is going to have to hold it a week until I hit my 30 day waiting period on the Tread Lightly discount.
Crazy fast. My build sheet just popped up. I have to wait till the 30th for my tread lightly too. I obviously didn't expect it to move so fast. I won't be able to get it till at least June first. Plus it is at gupton so I will have to get a flight and take time off work. The struggle is real. lol
That's incredibly fast! I'm hoping all shipping to the Southwest moves that quickly! On the train as of yesterday and the dealer is guessing delivery in the first week of June...
Got my Jeep! Stalled leaving the parking lot and once at a light. But it drove great, and I feel like it has plenty of power.
STALLED? Or stupid ESS kicked in? If my brand new vehicle stalls pulling out of the lot,it's not getting a second chance to do it again on the way home. That is not acceptable.
According to his earlier post he's got the 6 speed MT. These things apparently have a bit of a learning/feel curve from what I have read about here. Once mine arrives (hopefully soon) Ill probably stall it out a couple of times as well before getting the hang of it.
Didn't even think of that. I hated that when we first got the JK, and almost disabled the hill assist crap. But I quickly got used to it, and the wife even likes it now. I can imagine it might even be wonkier now with the ESS added into the mix. This will be our 4th Jeep, and the first with an AT. For me, THAT is going to take some getting used to.
It wasn't the Jeep. I am still getting used to the clutch point on the manual transmission. My wife drove it this morning, and she had no problems. ?
