They had a blowout yesterday and said people flocked in to buy so my red one is gone as are all the others except a few tricked out ones, but they have an identical granite crystal left and I'll take it. My wife has a Granite Crystal Cherokee and when freshly washed they are beautiful. Thirty minutes after washing one and driving it, not so much... Dirty dirty beasts after just a few minutes driving whereas, for some reason, silvers, reds even whites give off a different vibe after getting dirty... So, I think I got all my paperwork in just waiting to hear from the finance guy. Of course they are trying to screw me. Took a thousand off my trade in, grinding my teeth but still too good a deal to pass up, Oh, now its 8% on the loan? Sure, go ahead since you hosed me on time to get my own together... I know how to re-finance...and get a 5.29 for 72 months from Navy Federal Credit Union or even wait a few months since interest rates look like they might decline...grinding my teeth, but still too good a deal to pass up... And I still have to drive for six plus hours to go pick it up and do the trade... I have to wonder if they might try a last minute screw me.

Decided to pull the plug on the Rubicon X. With the unknown pricing and steep discounts on the 2023s this one was identical minus a few options.
67,925 window sticker and I got it for $56,415 I’ll be taking a two hour drive to get it Wednesday. ???

Man, my estimated delivery date has been all over the place. My order status is still showing as KZ/Built as of this morning, though the email I got from my dealer last Thursday was that it shipped that morning. Last week my estimated delivery date was 1/6, then it changed to 1/8, then yesterday when I checked it had moved to 1/22 (WTF!), now this morning it's showing as 1/12. I'm hoping it comes by year end so I can get another 5% off MSRP. When I ordered back in August I tentatively locked in at the "Employee Pricing" of 10% off and now I see they're offering 15% for their "Wrap up the year" sale but delivery must be made by 1/2/24. Guess my fate is in the hands of lady luck LOL. For a split second yesterday contemplated cutting bait and finding something close to what I wanted to get the better pricing (there are a few Punk'n trucks near me), but that impulsive thought has passed. I've waited too long and I'm too close at this point to not get the truck exactly as I wanted it; though it will sting a little knowing that could have saved a decent amount more. The sensible side of my brain keeps reminding me too that the reality is, its highly unlikely that the deep discounts on 2023's is going to stop in the new year. If anything they will either keep them the same and/or double down and continue to sweeten the pot to flush out all the aging inventory. I'm a firm believer in the age old saying of "everything happens for a reason", so lets see how this shakes out for me....

Yeah pretty much same situation. My arrival date was pushed back to 1/3. I too ordered back in August. Am super doubtful the prices are going to go back to “normal” after the new year for previous year models. I have no data to back that up, but just a gut feeling. Worst case is they raise the price and I just won’t buy it at that point. I’ll go somewhere else and they’ll be stuck with a previous year manual transmission

Same here. I was scheduled to pick up a 6Speed JTR but decided to hold off for a 2024 based on all the upgrades to the 2024 JL. Just waiting for pricing to lock in my order.
