Aside from Coastline jeep, local Socal dealers (Hemet, and HBJeep) are advertising low prices but when i contacted them, they said nitro fill, sealant, wheel locks, gps, and security are already preinstalled and cannot be removed. $3489 to be exact. I purchased several vehicles from HBJeep and my contact no longer works there. I didn't get charged for BS before.

Any other dealer recommendations?

If you don't mind driving to Phoenix, talk to Renate Steinbach at Chapman CDJR. She did 6% under invoice using the Tread Lightly discount, plus an extra 1% off if financed through the dealer.

I visited HBJeep yesterday and was about to commit to purchase until they told me that i have to finance with their bank. They said they'll work with the additional "dealer preinstalled items" without giving me the details. I did notice that they were giving me a 7.2 apr without even running credit. I left. The search continues.

this sounds illegal, use pentagon federal credit union -if you’re not a veteran make a donation to one of their affiliate charities. I’ve used them on 3 vehicles and home mortgage. Havehad rates on auto loans from 0.9% to my current at 2.9%

I told them about my Navy Federal CU and they said that they won't even take a check from them.
I got contacted by several dealers today but not interested in any of their jeep inventories. I'm still weighing my options.

Purchased mine today at Bob Baker Jeep in Carlsbad, CA. Employee pricing and dealer discount without added preinstalled BS. I got the last max tow package on their lot. Too bad Billet was already taken, but my son chose the Granite over any other Jeeps in the lot.

I am pleased to be finalizing a deal today on a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon (Gobi). Planning to drop off my old 2004 Rubicon at an independent dealership in Belton and will meet the Jeep dealership from Hamilton, TX there to pick up the Gladiator. Photos in a few days once I get it home!

I always show up with my own financing and ask for them to beat it. I don't care who finances it.

First dealer I went to only wanted to finance through big banks. Told me 17%. Second dealer went through a credit union. Told me 5%.

Biggest issue I ran into during my Jeep shopping adventure this month wasn't financing, but the dealers who are still wanting to stick unsuspecting customers with big "value packages" that are paint or fabric protection, vehicle locating, window etching and other useless features. Prices at one dealer ranged from $1500 and over $1800 (plus tax) at another local dealer. I finally learned to ask up front whether the dealership imposes any mandatory "special features" charges.

The dealer I spoke to had a stupid add-on package with almost $3000 extra dollars. Told them to go away! Then he emailed me about ordering for 8% below invoice, but I will not do business with a crooked dealer. I don't believe them...

Spoke with Rob at Coastline the other day. Super cool guy. He said that the dealership is going to change the "Tread Lightly" discount to 4% for 2021 models if FCA renews their contract with TL. If FCA does not, he informed me the dealership will be doing 3% on 2021 orders. Still a very attractive offer. Just my .02.
