Ordered mine 7/11. VON the next day. Still haven't received a VIN. The not knowing is killer.

You should of had a vin within a couple of days after. If you contact Jeep chat with your VON, they can give you your VIN.

That is a genuine concern I have. This was an all over the phone transaction. They may have dropped the ball or worse.

I’d call them tomorrow and see what’s doing. If you don’t get any resolution then I recommend finding another dealer.

I ordered mine 8/1 and had a VIN on 8/3. It is in D1 status and should be building this week hopefully.

That is a definite for a call. Step two maybe required as mentioned. Fingers crossed for tomorrow with any news. Hopefully they are speedier than Ford and their lead times.

Keep posted if you can... I’m about a week after you and today Jeep Chat said they are still scheduling to get parts and no estimated build, or ship, date.

Seems strange GladiSD ordered before me 7/07 a blue 2021 Hydro blue Mojave MANUAL and I ordered basically the same thing in Automatic trans. 7/17 and I'm in JB status, truck is built and at body vendor for bedliner spraying, salesman says I'll be seeing the Jeep sometime around middle of September which is in the 7-12 week range he said, at maybe 9 weeks. Can Manual trannies be a holdup?

Certainly the manual can be an issue. It was an issue when I ordered one last summer and it delayed it so long I gave up on it, but at the same time people who ordered automatics were being pumped right out. Then they had the issue with the clutch on the manuals and the potential fire hazard and that recall, so yeah, manual sure can be a reason. Anything can be at any given time depending on availability. At one time the steel bumper group was an issue, and so on. It’s just a gamble.

It took a month to get a VON/VIN and then have a ship date 10 days later? Man... this system is wonky. I’ve had a VIN/VON for 2 weeks... but they’re just numbers. Words are wind... I guess. (c:

I'm thinking it's absolutely the issue. The factory seems to build certain things in clusters and I'm sure the manual is reallllll low on their priority list as it doesn't move a whole lot of units. With that being said, I have a feeling a lot of manual orders that were placed in that first month of 21' ordering will be made during that time.

Also, I could be totally WRONG cause it is hard to decipher the method to their madness.
