FWIW, I do hope yours gets here early. Mine is looks to be coming ahead of schedule and I was ecstatic with my estimated dates being way, way ahead of schedule but...

We put an offer in on a house, they are wanting to close very aggressively, but I have a feeling the JT will be here before that date. It shouldn't affect my DTI to the disqualifying bit but it has me nervous nonetheless as I've heard horror stories as people's DTI's become too big and get their financing denied. I might end up placing a call to my guy and asking if he'd be willing to hold the truck for a few weeks in order let me close on the house before I fly over and pick up the JT.

That seems highly unlikely but if it came in any time in November I’d be estatic. Still expecting to not see our new toy until sometime in December based on everyone else’s experiences here.

Don't congratulate me yet... although we should have the 'highest' offer, it is also tied to a loan contingency and competing with cash offers. My realtor changed his tone a bit, saying we have more than just a puncher's chance but don't be surprised if they go for the most money for the least amount of hassle.

My Sport S Max Tow was also ordered on 7/27. Based on responses from Jeep Chat it bounced back and forth between “gathering parts” and “all parts gathered” ever since. I escalated this through Jeep Chat on Friday. Today I received an email from Jeff at Stellantis stating that he would insure my build gets prioritized and send me updates on the progress. We’ll see if that gets things moving.

I like the positive outlook. According to Jeep chat, all parts are obtained and waiting to be built. Jim Marsh gave me an estimated ship date of October 12th. I keep checking to see if it gets bumped up a little. I’ve got boxes starting to pile up. ?

I know the market here is crazy right now, like other places. We thought about selling, but I’d just be dumping the profits into another, more expensive house, and I’m only a couple years from retirement so doesn’t make much sense. One of these days we’ll both have our trucks and have to meet up for an adventure!

It’s like the factory is running triple shifts as of late. I got a shipping estimate of 9/27 from my dealer, Jeep Chat said it would also be scheduled to leave at that time but today all I’m getting is “it’s in paint, not ETA’s” so I pinged my sales guy again.

I don’t blame anyone for taking the money and running. ??‍ Is what it is.

Re meeting up, yeah man that sounds cool. Wheeler’s Pass is my go to. Just enough difficult lines without being too extreme, that’s the first trail I plan to hit!

Ran it a few times on my RZR years ago. Rocky Gap out at red rock is good also. Don’t know if there’s a name for it but there’s a road out of Mesquite that heads up into the mountains that’s pretty cool and perfect for the summer time.
