Oct 11 vehicle is complete and awaiting final inspection
no delivery date as of today.
Seems super fast to me! Hope its accurate

Hey question for you other orderers - did you guys put a deposit down?
My sales rep did not ask for that, and when I asked if I needed to he said no he trusts me. Is this so he can play some price games later or something? I did all my negotiation already, got it in email.

When I built my M2 I had to put a $1k deposit down to secure it. But that car was a little different in that I never set foot in the dealership and had to search around for a dealer with an allocation (aka one that was even allowed to order one)

I think it depends on the dealer. The first dealer I talked to wanted a $1,000 deposit. The second one only wanted $500.

Have been trying to get a dealer to work with me for a week now.
Nothing within 500 miles of me will sell for below MSRP.

1 so far has agreed to incoice but is 600 miles away in Las Vegas.

Getting REAL close to just going with Gupton for the no hassle 7ish % below invoice and deal with shipping when it comes in.

Holding out hope that the dealer I’m talking to in Idaho can come back with a couple points under invoice.

I can do that as a fly-n-drive.

First sales guy I talked to wanted $1000 non refundable because I was ordering a manual and they "would have a really difficult time selling it if I couldn't take delivery"....

Went back a week later, talked to a different sales guy at the same dealer and all he asked was $500 refundable. They just make it up as they go, it seems.
