Ordered mine 7 September, it was built last week and got to the rail yard today. Hoping to have it by EOM.

As for the deposit, my dealer wanted a $1500 check as proof of a valid customer should JEEP audit the order - I guess dealers weren't allowed to place new orders at the time for their lots. I'll get the voided check back at delivery. They never cashed it.

My dealer told me 3 days ago that i had a rail yard delivery date of 10/20 and that he would call on it then to push the truck transport which should take about 3-4 days. has Anyone seen railyard dates slide forwards or backward? I suppose I could ask for another update, but I thought I’d give it to the weekend. Anyone have any relatable experience with good or bad news to share?

Hey guys! When the build sheet becomes available does that mean it's about to get built? Or got built?
I've heard, and experienced, that the build sheet comes after it's built. Window sticker within a couple more days. Might have to go to the Mopar site for the sticker. Crypto was a bit behind...

Your wait really isn't comparable to recently completed orders since you will have to wait for all the '21s to be finished up before they could start yours so probably not the best gauge.

I ordered a 22 Sport diesel S on Tuesday. Not expecting it soon, but not in any hurry.
Hope we enjoy our trucks whenever we get them! ?

Just placed my order today with Chapman for a Hydro Blue Mojave. They have been great to work with so far. I was debating between Chapman and Koons and ended up going with Chapman even though they were 4% vs 6% for Koons but needing to use their financing. If I chose not to use their financing they would add another $1k which would have basically made it close to a wash. I like having the option to choose to lease or purchase depending on what deals are available or if better financing comes out. Plus Koons is about 5 hours from me whereas Chapman is a little less than 3 hours.

It's gonna be a pain waiting, but I'm still on my Grand Cherokee lease anyway. I will be in good shape with my lease though because of I buy it out I can get like $35-36k for it based on one if those instant offers to buy it and I can buy it out today for $24k even with 9 months left on my lease.

Didn’t realize you were in NY ?

Granite Crystal with the basic black cloth for me. I was all over the place with my build at first - Diesel was my only “must have.” Landed on this so I can justify a lift and 37”s right away. It’ll be a 2nd car for me. I have a Volvo XC90 daily and sold my Cayman to get the Gladiator. Wife couldn’t drive a manual and with two kids I couldn’t take them in the Cayman - so going back to my “roots” and getting a Jeep. Only car I ever regret selling was my first car - a 95 YJ from high school.

I’ll have to get back into the Jeep scene after a long time without, but yeah! Maybe we’ll run into each other. Keep me posted on your build progress!

Another ny ?. Welcome to the waiting room. If you're 3 hours from Chapman is that really "upstate" lol

Haha thanks. I'm out in the Binghamton area so it's considered upstate but obviously isn't way up by Buffalo or something.

I'm definitely excited to get the Gladiator because I have wanted one since they came out, but went with the GC lease because it was too good of a deal to pass up at the time.

Southwestern CT checking in. A transplant from JLU and the jlwranglerforum, I placed my order through Koons yesterday for a '22 granite Rubi V6 with most of add-ons and packages except for:
- leather - i run open top often, periodically get caught in rain and need seats to last as this should be a 10 year or so vehicle ::wife: "this is what you said about JLU, and yet, here we are"::
- decals - dont care for them
- premium wheels and full-time AWD - not worth it to me, personally
- tie-downs and bluetooth speaker - don't get the point

My current JLU was my first foray into Jeep, and I quickly realized that:
- I should've added premium sound and steel bumper
- I need more cargo space

And now, the used market is crazy, so I decided to try to cash in on it - we'll see if Glad gets built in time. I did give up having manual transmission as my wife doesn't drive one AND to maximize the towing cap - I've never had an auto before, so I ask for your understanding and sympathy in this difficult time.

List of planned (initial - i learned my lesson on thinking it's final) mods:
- first thing - Smartcap for the winter
- ceramic paint protection? (any experience and recommendations are welcome)
- RAM dash bar (take-off from my JLU)
- alien sunshade (take-off from my JLU)
- obligatory t-rex sticker on the windshield
- rugged ridge door sill protectors
- winch
- front/back dashcams (the rear one should be interesting to figure out)

An actual picture of my town's tax assessor right now:

Just got word my Gecko Gladiator is on the ground at the UP Rail Yard in SLC.
Just over 12 weeks since order. Probably get it next week if they can find a truck driver...

Hopefully that train is now headed south to Vegas with mine on it.
