Key Fob lockboxes that fit our giant fob

Has anyone found a key fob lockbox to store your key on the truck? I need one for when I surf, so I ordered the venerable Master Lock 5400D, but the damn fob is so big it won’t come close to fitting. The only options I’ve found that might works are big lock boxes meant for real estate agents. Hoping someone has found a better solution.

They make small sleeves that the key can’t transmit through so you can really get any storage you want that fits the fob and cover.

It works great for surf storage. Now that I left the coast I still use it for hiking and stuff

I was considering this, but was unsure about why I’d want to use the hitch, but it does look big enough for the fob. Thanks.

Damn, that thing is big. Was hoping to go smaller but keyosauras needs a lot of space. Maybe the hitch one is looking better after all. Thanks for pointing that out though, I hadn’t seen it.

Awesome thread. I just picked up my Gladiator and I was curious how I was going to handle surfing. It seems like the real estate lockbox in the bed might be viable option. Would love to hear if hitch safe works...

just order a DI keyfob, then you can use whatever box you want.
