For your sake I hope it's totaled. I say this probably not for the reasons you think. Somebody else may have said this, I didn't read all posts.

My wife's 2015 RHD JKU waws hit and $21.5K was done to it. Not Totaled. Reason, due to National back order of many many parts work was done as parts came in ( I am ok with this) once last parts came in and "final" assemble took place shop found about 1500 more in parts and labor. Then Insurance wanted it totaled... (FFS) Then I had to call and say I was fine with this but they had to pay me increase value to to market going up and they had to pay shop for all the work. It became "untotaled" right then and there. It took 5.5 months for my wife to get her RHD mail Jeep back..

So, I hope its totaled for your sanity.

P.S. My wife's vehicle was hit and run. They made sure she was alive and left scene never to be seen again. Our insurance company has been pretty good. Wife is ok. However, she suffered a severe concussion and still only on lite duty due to lingering effects. Sorry if this hijacked thread.

The insurance industry even debunks that.
The cost of airbags is considered in the cost of repairs so it's part of that 70%, in Iowa, for example, threshold. Replacement airbags are part of the repair costs so could add enough to take it over your specific STATE threshold for being totaled, but it's not automatic.

That's just something that was copied around the internet so often it became a "fact" even though it's not.

ugh, that's another good reason to not want it back. Electric gremlins forever. Just jolting the PDC could be a lifetime of issues. There's a heck of a lot of connections in those harnesses and I would bet some were damaged, wires crushes or cut, etc.
So much that pictures just don't directly show.

It's got to feel good having gotten at least this far meaning "now you know" - no more wondering.

Definitely feels good to get an answer. Initial valuation at $60,170 but got them to bump to $63,685 after I noticed they were missing some equipment features and submitting a couple more comps. Also get to keep my wheels and tires if I replace with OEM. Adjuster called collision center with me and confirmed.
