Few attorneys are "lowly' - those are the ones giving others a bad name.
I have to be careful with the attorney jokes as wife's cousin's husband is an attorney (retired) - his resume includes: former State AG attorney, former attorney for the Polk County Attorney's office, private practice for years, etc. etc. etc. and I've great respect for the guy.

I'll let the fleet of 2020 owners speak and correct me if wrong, but my observation has been no - that this is impacting a limited set of weeks/months in the 2021 model year.
(meaning I don't believe it showed up in the early 2021 model year either)

Mine was a custom order received mid April 2021 and I have the right rear leak. Dealer found it at my service @7700 miles. Supposedly ordered the axle but I have to call them again soon. Shop manager said he had seen it before so he checked... now I see how common this seems to be.

I think this poll confirms what we already knew anecdotally - the vast vast majority of axle seal issues occur at the right (passenger) rear corner.

I apparently have a double unicorn...2020 model year, and rear driver's side leak. Been waiting for a new axle since 10/21/21. Who knows how long it was leaking before I saw it while changing the oil. Delivery keeps getting pushed back- they're telling me 12/21 is the day now. I'm not holding my breath.

I think yours is the first left I've read of - and the first of either side for a 2020 model year.
Not that it IS the only one, just that I've followed, or tried to follow close and it's the first I've read of.

I've seen a few mentioned on some Facebook groups, but not too many.

So far, my 2020 axles are dry on the outside, just like they should be.
I've been trying to keep an eye on them because of the 2021 leaks (and my 2004 Jeep axle leak)

I got my 21 Mojave with 6747 miles serviced last week and noticed a weird sound like a bad belt in a tire afterwards. I got underneath it today and found the RR axle seal leaking. My MDH is 121307.

I spoke to the service manager because I was not happy that the tech just rotated the greasy wheel from the back and never said anything about the leak. He had me bring it right over and they immediately ordered a new RR axle shaft. It’s supposed to be here tomorrow and install on Wednesday.
