Would love your feedback for what I might have missed for a followup video.

Has anyone signed a lease yet? I'm really curious about what MF's people are getting.
I leased, 42 month was the sweet spot, 67% residual and I believe my money factor was .00176, I can check this when I get home, my credit score was 808

Thank you sir! Was this with Chrysler Capital? Do you know what score they used? I'm hoping they pull auto enhanced TransUnion 08 or 9 as those are my strongest scores.

Every lease has a buy option in the end. Typically, unless somehow the car goes up in value, the idea of buying out your lease is not financially viable. UNLESS, you end up putting far less miles on it than you were allotted and your residual value is a lot less than what the car is actually worth. This is rarely the case, but it has happened to me with my wife's old MB. We worked out a really great deal on it, and ended up not driving it much at all because at the time my car was a lot more suited for the family drives. At the end of the lease the car was still worth around $26k and our buy option was like $21K. We ended up using that as negotiating power on her next car lease which worked out great. Any time I can avoid having to sell a car on my own I'll take it.

It was not Chrysler Capital, I'm not sure which credit bureau they used. They put all of my paperwork on a flash drive, if you want to know who the lease was through I can find out. We compared multiple leasing companies to find the best rates

Does this mean you will be leasing without a bumper to bumper warranty for the last 6 months?

That’s a real possibility with me. I’ve had my 98 Tacoma since 2000 when it had 19k miles. Since then I’ve put another 140k over the last 19 years. lol

We use “the car” for long trips since it’s generally more comfortable. My “commute” is only 2 miles, which I ride my bike most days to work. So yeah, I don’t put lots of miles on my vehicles, but I do own them for a long time.

I guess the gamble is how well do we think these trucks will hold their value?

This is what I'm hoping will happen with my JKU. I was talked into a 5 year lease at 12k miles per year. After two years I was at 16k miles and my second year was less than my first. If I just take the average I'll be 20k under my max of 60k miles at the end of the lease. Hoping I can either use that for getting a good deal on leasing a Gladiator, or buying out my JKU with less miles for the buyout price.

It will be interesting to see what others get for a MF verses credit number. Basically you got a little over 4 per cent loan APR with a super prime credit score. A going rate........... not great but good..

Any money down?

I see the residual is no where near the mid 70's people were stating before.

BTW great credit score! You must worked hard for that.

@spenchey, have you heard of this leasing Co?
Certainly sounds like the abbreviation for Chrysler Capital to me... I didn't read this whole thread though so I may be missing some key parts of info
