It will be interesting to see what others get for a MF verses credit number. Basically you got a little over 4 per cent loan APR with a super prime credit score. A going rate........... not great but good..

Any money down?

I see the residual is no where near the mid 70's people were stating before.

BTW great credit score! You must worked hard for that.
I used the equity in my trade to put down all of the upfront costs and walked away with a check for the difference.

OOPS That is Chrysler Capitals lease holding company, why don't they just spell it out.
@RIPLER you sure that's the leasing company you went through? That's a great Money Factor.

  • How the money factor is like apr on a loan
  • How they roll up all the fees into the lease
  • How sales price is still negotiable
  • How only sales price is locked in because residual and money factor cN change between when you sign paperwork and when car shows up.
That's about it,good start.
Add thoughts on buying down a lease for low monthly payments (cash flow).

I leased, 42 month was the sweet spot, 67% residual and I believe my money factor was .00176, I can check this when I get home, my credit score was 808
That's so messed up. I heard of another dealer in NC quoting a money factor of 0.00273, that's like 2.3% APR different.
@RIPLER , what dealer did you buy from?

I got it on the last day of May, maybe the rates changed with the month?

Dealer I bought from.

https://www.tristarmotors.com/
I'm speculating, but i think dealers may be able to tweak the money factor. Like if FCA is offering it at 0.002, they could say its 0.0025 and they get to pocket the extra $$$.

That's my speculation, but i just got emails from 2 different dealers, one was at 0.002 and is local, never does affiliate pricing, selling @ MSRP, the other is one of the forum dealers that does high volume, but theirs was 0.00273..........nobody without inside information will ever know if what i'm speculating is true or not.

Ally/us bank/ccap?

Did they run your credit or is this just their "tier 1" rate?

Let me rephrase.

Did they run your credit to determine these money factors? If so, did you qualify for tier 1 or are these rates tier 2 or 3?

If they didn't run your credit then I would just assume these are tier 1.

Either these rates were with different banks, or someone is trying to make some extra $ off of you.

They did not run my credit, just said if you have good credit you would be tier 1. My credit is like 780 currently, use to be 820, ugh.
