Looking to swap out the halogen headlight, DRL/turn and fogs for LED. Not looking to blind oncoming traffic. From what I read a two sided led bulb in a refractor lense probably works best. What out there is plug and play that won’t give me a bulb out warning or hyperflash. Not looking for Amazon cheapies. Thanks

It is hard to get great performance out of a replacement LED headlight bulb. You can get good performance, but not as good as a replacement headlight assembly designed around an LED bulb.

Our most popular replacement LED headlamp assembly is the Oracle Lighting Oculus Bi-LED headlamp: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/...bi-led-projector-headlights-graphite-metallic

It features a sharp cut-off, making it easy to aim to keep from blinding oncoming drivers. They also feature a DRL HALO light.

Oracle also has you covered for replacement LED headlamp bulbs:

For the fog and turn indicators, look at Diode Dynamics: https://www.northridge4x4.com/brand/diode-dynamics

There are different bulbs depending on your model JT.

Why are you giving up on your take off LEDs? Call me a cynic but something isn't adding up.

The dealer couldn’t get the headlights to stay on or remove the bulb out message for the fender lights. Just want to go a simpler route.

As suggested in the other thread, a simpler method is doing it at home with Jscan. Involving a dealer for something like this usually makes it more difficult. Did they flash an update to the truck computers after adding and verifying the LED sales code to your VIN?

The aforementioned bulbs I'm trying to sell didn't need a flash. Just pop in and go. I have halogens.

They said they did. Even let it “sleep” overnight.

Stock halogen Mojave LED upgades without jscan/alfaobd changes needed, all Oracle: fender drl upgrade, front turn signal upgrade, headlight bulbs(extreme terrain item#JG3734), vseries fog (extreme terrain item#JG3732). Very pleased with these upgrades. The headlights are much better than stock halogens

Which white DRL bulb does everyone recommend? I heard that some turn off when the headlights are on. Currently my halogen DRL is bright during the day when the headlights are set to auto and dimmmer at night when the headlights are on.

I just installed the Beamtech H13's in my JT and they work great. No Tazer needed. The DRL's plugged right in, but in my case the Fog Lamp or Driving Lamp replacements did not .. the Fog Lamp bulbs have alignment ribs for both the lamp housing and the OEM plug. Once I stared at them for a minute or two I opted to shave off the offending ribs that did not align with an Exacto Blade and that fixed the issue. Once the new bulbs fit the housing and plug they worked perfectly. I found this issue reported online with other H16 bulbs ... so it's not just a Beamtech thing. The LEDS work great with the Jeep Halogen reflectors ... good cut off, just make sure you have them adjusted properly.
