Please educate this LED lights need the truck to reprogrammed thing.

I've had a couple of people tell me that if I add LED lights, the truck needs to go back to the dealer for reprogramming. I've added LED side marker lights to my son's Camaro and the Mustang with no issues. I'd love to add some lights up front and out back, and I have basic knowledge of wiring (could be trouble right there!) so hard can this be?!

It depends on the lights you are using. LED bulbs use less power, so the computer thinks the bulb is out, some aftermarket LED are already equipped with resisters to fix that on their own.

If you are talking auxiliary lighting, then there is no issue. You just wire those up to switches and they are ready to go.
