Rear aftermarket bumper is next on my list.

The bumper I am going with has mounting points for 3" x 3" surface mount lights.

Which would be best for this location, flood or spot?

Thanks

depends on your needs. i typically do flood just for backing up in tight, wooded areas in the mountains. i don't need a long throw of light for say a desert/open area situation. i just need a wide field of view to see what's immediately behind me or provide light to set up camp.

A good flood light for that low and good spread and visibility when backing. A spot will give you more distance but less spread.
