Rear bumper LED lights

Added new rear bumper that has LED pod lights. Can I tap into my reverse LED light or will I have to run a wire to the aux switch? If I run it to the aux switch will I need an inline fuse and a relay?

I would run it to a switch that way it doesn't turn on every time you back out of the Walmart parking lot. If you have factory aux switches, then no. You don't need a fuse or relay. I have a set of Baja Designs reverse lights wired to the #4 aux switch.

Use a Curt harness and connect it to the Tow Wiring behind the bumper.

Thanks for the replies. I tapped into my trailer plug wire and works fine.
wasn't sure this would work because I had added a different grill with LED lights in a 2021 Ford Ranger with a LED light package and they wouldn't work.

Either or both.

My bumper-mounted backup lights come on in reverse, and I can turn them on with an aux switch. But to wire for both, you need diodes.......................
