I just added some Hella Led 4" Round lights to the windshield and have been running a set of 5" Led Cannons on the Bumper I got for free from Loyo Led Company. All in all I'm pretty pleased with them. They provide plenty of light for me and are far more light than I'll ever need. I chose the Hella round lights for the windshield because they are low profile and they are made by Hella and I've had pretty good success with their products in the past. I'll not be adding anymore lights for the front. Next lights I'll be adding are to the rear when I finally get my DV8 high clearance rear bumper. Here are some shots of them and them burning at night. They both got a nice hot spot for the spot beam. I think the Hellas might have a little more throw.

These are the ones. Don't let the price scare you away, they are solid. I was tempted to bedline them but they seemed like they would be fine without it. If they start to rust I'll take them off and hit them with some bedliner

Those are the same mounts I bought, and run...I've had them since June, and the only issue thus far has been some surface rust on the supplied bolt.

So if anything, a replacement machine screw or bolt would take care of the only downfall I've come across for this "budget" mount.

Thanks guys! :like: :like: I like their simple, clean design. I'm not worried about corrosion as I'd likely rattle can them with either the Granite Crystal Metallic color or the Rustoleum Hammered Black "Galaxy" metallic spray paint (Home Depot) that I like (used it on my Bed Rack, CO2 tank bracket, etc.).

As long as these Brackets don't vibrate - I like the way they look

They aren't as rock solid as a 3 point mounting solution, and could stand to be a thicker steel, but up until last week I was running 6" KC Slimlite LEDs (which are decently heavy) and they didn't seem to vibrate when going down a decently smooth road...if you hit a good bump with a heavy light up there, they will vibrate a bit. I didn't have any issues with them deforming under the weight or shock over time (on their own - I did slightly tweak them to make them perfectly level after I had the mounts tightened down)...but at under $15 they're overall pretty good...

With the 4" round Hellas I have mounted on them they don't vibrate at all. For price you can't go wrong. I was hesitant at first but once they arrived and I hand them in hand I was pretty shocked at how solid they were for the price. The ease of install was pretty nice as well.
