I ran ALLA LED bulbs in my reflector housings and they were extremely bright. However, there was a slight glare above the hotspot, and i think the intensity paired with the slight glare got me flashed at until they were adjusted "too low" for their benefit.

So i recently replaced them with the Axial Daymaker 7" lights (no halo - i'm not really a halo guy) and now i'm playing with the height adjustment to see if they are going to be bright enough. Will report back.

Kinda thinking i should have just gone with the oracle oculus and not wired up the halo. That's how it will probably end up, but i like the look of these axials and am hoping they'll get there. In the end, you have to be able to see

First pic is ALLA bulb in oem reflector housing. You can see a glare up and to the left, but holy cow these are bright.

Second pic is the nice projector cutoff from the Axial lights, but not as bright

Hey! You can find out more about our OCULUS headlights here. These are the most popular led replacement headlights on the market, in my opinion! :)

If you are looking for a high quality but cheaper route, you can always just change the bulbs to LED Headlight bulbs. The suggested style is HERE.

Either way always feel free to use our promo code FORUM10 for additional 10% off!

What’s bi-led? I want to replace my halogens with LEDs and kinda like the halo look. Looking at DV8 but they’re def pricy for the black ($799) and then saw some suggested yours

Does anyone know some good LED headlights that aren't too expensive?
You are from Michigan?
Asking because if you are. I would recommend NOT being too frugal… picking up heated LED headlights will be worth every penny. I have factory LED’s and will eventually sell them for a set of Heated JW speaker’s.

The snow accumulation sucks.

Bi LED means high and low beam LED. Our headlights operate just like factory so when you turn on your high beam the shutter in the headlight will automatically turn on to operate the high beam.

This is especially significant on lifted vehicles where the light source is raised and in a position to interfere with the field of vision of other drivers. These new Oculus headlights feature a very sharp cut-off line and focus light with precision specifically to avoid such issues.

Not sure what price you will find them at. But the Trucklite 27270C are awesome. They are 7", but you can grab adapter brackets for cheap.

I went this route and had no issues.

We have run these on big rigs in the past at my place....excellent quality!

Thanks for the explanation! And I see heated is an option. What is that all about? I read that these lights tend to run a little hot to begin with.

The Heated Oculus was created for extreme winter weather conditions. The heating function automatically activates when the headlight is on and the ambient temperature approaches freezing. If you have factory LED you will notice the snow will not melt off at all because the LEDs do not get hot. If you have the halogen it may a little but still not enough to melt snow.

If your area has a high concentration of snow and you find yourself unable to see well, this would be a great option to select.

If I didn't already have LEDs, I'd look for a set of projector headlight housings, and use HIDs.
There's something about HIDs that I like better than LEDs.

I have these, as well.
The only gripe is the deadband right in front of the Jeep. But, the fog lights fill in nicely.

That is an honest answer and part of the reason they half the price of the Oracles.

I initially bought these for my jeep. As was said you can go cheap or you can go good, rarely both. These were not good. I ended up going with Oracle bi-LEDs and they are amazing. You get what you pay for.
