I actually thought about going -6 but I think that was below the minimum backspace I needed for the 12.50's not to rub. I definitely can turn lock to lock with zero rub even in a bind.

So I decided to have a local shop install the leveling kit and lower control arms. After watching a number of videos and crawling underneath my Jeep to study the suspension, I am confident that I can do it myself - however - realistically it would probably take me the better part of a day. I don't have a lot of free weekends over the next two months.

When I was younger, I had more time than money so I would have done this myself. At this point in my life, I have more money than time (not that I'm wealthy now). I'd rather use that limited time for things that I really want to do.

Thanks again for all of the advice and support. I'll post up before/after photos once completed.

Looks great. You may need to adjust the headlights down a little so oncoming traffic doesn’t think you have your high beams on. Super easy to do. Takes under a minute to do both.

Thanks! I took care of the headlight adjustment once it was dark. I installed OEM LED headlights last week. I aimed them a little low and left the markings on the gate in expectation of installing the leveling kit. Made it a breeze.

I definitely spent more time on the control arm bolts than the actual part install while installing a 2" AEV kit for the Mojave. I ended up getting the wrong bolts in the kit for the upper sway arm though so now I'm trying to find my own hardware since AEV hasn't been able to provide the right stuff yet so I can relate to the install anxiety.
