šŸ˜‚ Sure…I love talking out of my ass - You like it??šŸ˜Ž

I’d never buy spacers….. I’d buy the real thing…. COILS.
I'm not sure what's not "real" about spacers but leveling kits are very common.

They're in wide use and work fine.

I'm not quite sure about your numbers.

I currently have 1.5" of spacers in the front which is a pretty standard level for a Gladiator. With a factory front bumper it sat fairly level before I installed the bumper and winch.

I want to add 1/2" for a total of 2"....

Putting just a set of 3.5" springs in the front is going to end up with a negative rake, which would not only adversely affect handling, would probably make gas milage worse and just plain look weird.
2" of spacer, not 2.5 but like I said you're slowly creeping up on the height you want. The 3.5" was my example, maybe you don't want to end up that high. Whatever height you want to end up at, why not start with the springs? Then you won't even need to jack it up to add the rest of the lift items of your choice. Obviously if you're going 3.5" or more you'd want to do front and rear springs.

You do you……. and I’ll do me.

Back in 2000-ish, I’d helped install many spacers in many trucks (granted, IFS) over the years. I know what they are and how long they’ve been around.

Lifting anything……is much more than just slapping on coils or spacers. There’s much more to it. I see the big picture….and that big picture doesn’t include a $200 spacer kit. But that’s just me…….

Since you've been around for awhile, do you remember Nth Degree suspensions? They used coils and spacers with one of their lifts. That company was owned by a former Jeep suspension engineer.

No, you don't.

It's a level.. not a lift. They. Are. Done. All. The. Time.

I was a tech for 17 years, I'm aware of how lifts affect things like suspension, steering and driveline. What you're missing is that I'm not trying to stack 3" of spacers under an unmodified Gladiator. In fact, I'm not even trying to pick it up more than the original 1.5" level.

But thanks for your "help."

C’mon…seriously?? You’re trying to tell me that a Leveling kit isn’t a lift??
What planet do you live on?

I’m curious to hear WHY or HOW you think it’s not a lift.

Why waste money and time on coils? You should install the full real deal King coilovers, don't skimp and forget the nitrogen bumps. I mean it's the same amount of work just a little more money and no loose coils bouncing around in the spring bucket

I have a Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit on my Sport S.

After installing an aftermarket front bumper and winch, it's lost a bit of height.

Any adverse affect if I raise it another 1/2", and is it ok to stack a 1/2" spacer on top of the existing one, or should I just get a 2" spacer?

Thanks.
The Tera Flex 2 1/2" lift uses stacked spacers in the box, so stacking is as engineered by the company. I However would contact the manufacturer for specific questions about their recommendation

Leveling kit - spacers used to raise the front of a vehicle to remove the vehicle's rake.

Lift kit - longer springs, shocks, brackets, sway bar links, replacement suspension arm and steering components, etc... to raise the entire vehicle some amount.
