Update: went about as well as I thought it would at the dealership. Dealer said they didn’t hear anything and that the noise I was hearing normal and that it was a fuel injector. This is my 3rd Jeep and 5th mopar product, I know the difference between a lifter and a fuel injector

My advice, just do an oil analysis ever 10K miles to see where your iron levels are at. That will tell you what if anything is going on with the valvetrain. Dealer may not take action on any negative analysis, but you will at least have an idea and can plan accordingly.

Update to the update: the actual mechanics finally took it back and looked at it after 2 hours and used a stethoscope on it and determined that I was right and that there was a bad lifter tick. They’re keeping it over night and starting to work on it tomorrow.

At first I thought it was too slow for lifter tick, but then I realized when I've had it, it was ALL my lifters.

A lifter tick is slow, once every 2 crankshaft revolutions, and the same as injector noise - once every 2 crank revolutions

Excellent news! I hope they get it resolved for you and the issue doesn’t recur later!
For the record I was in your camp in thinking it sounded like a lifter tick. Can be hard to tell from phone/video recordings, but playing the percentages make it a safe bet.

Hello all, just purchased a brand new 2025 Rubicon. It currently has 480 miles on it and it seems like it has developed what sounds like a lifter tick already. Oil level is good and everything else appears to be in good working order. Not getting any check engine codes either. Attached is a video of the sound. It begins when the engine is cranked and never goes away while driving. Just trying to get an opinion before I try to haggle with the dealership.
Thanks
I think I am in the same boat as you. Bought a 2024 JT Rubicon Unlimited X back in January of this year. I think I started hearing a tick around 500 miles. I went on a prolonged trip back in June/July and put about 3000 mile on the truck. As friends came and took a look at my Gladiator, almost everyone asked is that a diesel? Went on another trip, but because of the tick, took a different vehicle since I would be in very remote locations. I have a service appointment for the Gladiator on the 29th of July. I have 7999 miles on the truck at this point. My second oil change was at 5100 miles, so the filter has been on 2899 miles Today, I decided to cut open the oil filter and metal flake is apparent. Also attached a video of what my Gladiator sounds like. Hoping my dealer is able to fix this soon, as planning on taking the truck cross country. Had the same issue on my JK at 60,000 miles and repaired it myself. Hard to believe this Gladiator has this problem so early in life. Have to wonder what is going on at Jeep, at least I am under warranty.
