Longer OE type LCA bolts to work with Rock Hard LCA skids?

If the spacer went through one side of the box then the box would no longer interfere with the clamping force. Right now the clamp has to compress the box before if can start to clamp the bushing inside the box.

When you did it were you torqueing the nut? Or the bolt?
I just ran these a little tighter with my impact. I could use the impact on the nut side with all the bolts with the exception of the rear lower frame side passenger control arm due to the gas skid being in the way. The front driver axle side lower skid is also a little tough because of the differential blocking straight access, I ended up using a swivel which is not ideal. Most I got with nut movement is about 1/8 of a turn and the clunking has disappeared for now. None of the control arms seem to have any movement. Keeping my fingers crossed, they stay quiet.

Here is the set of 1/2" drive torque extensions that I have:

Capri Tools

As long as you have the extension at 90 degrees to the torque wrench you don't have to modify the setting on the torque wrench..
