Rock Hard Skids with no lift

Trying to choose between the different steel skids available. I have narrowed it down to a couple and Rock Hard seems to offer the most coverage. I have a 2020 Rubicon gas model and have no plans on lifting and interested in comments from anybody else that has installed this skid system without a lift on how happy are you with it. Rock Hard says I will loose about 1/2 inch in clearance which does not sound like much but interested in hearing from others that run these skids without a lift and if you are happy with them and how did the install go.

I have the M.O.R.E steel engine and transfer case skid plate on my stick shift JTR. It fits perfect without drilling. The price is also great. They are thick steel. I beat them up pretty good at the Rubicon Trail and other jeep trails --- and all it did was scratch, no real denting. I just had to get under there and spray paint it black where it was hit. The cone washers hang down a little and can get pretty beat up. I have an extra set to swap them out when I do my transfer case and manual transmission fluid change. Here are some before and after pics.

Note: This has nothing to do with the skids, but, I did move a boulder while going over it and wedged up into my exhaust and rear drive shaft. I tried to reverse without looking underneath and dented up my muffler and tore up my rear driveshaft. This was basically my fault, the skids do not cover that area.

After the Rubicon trail and a bunch of other Jeep trails. I had to paint the scratches, but, no dents.
