I decided to break up the blue a bit with some more black on the butt and the GLADIATOR logo from Urban Jeep. The Oracle backup lights are a huge functional improvement and a subtle cosmetic one as well. Tires are BFG KO2s 315s on stock Mojave wheels (for now ?). Weathertech mud flaps and Extreme Recon fender extensions add to the look and keep things clean. This Jeep sees no off road use.

On stock tires it looks too narrow and boring. Honestly I don't care for the bone stock look. Adding the horizontal "stripe" across the back makes it look visually wider... just like wearing horizontal stripes in a shirt if you're really skinny or why you don't wear horizontal stripes if you're not. That's probably just the artist in me. I liked the Oracle tail lights as they continue the horizontal look instead of the square factory ones that stick out. Bigger tires and some lift and to my taste it's the best possible transformation.

Great post! I will add pics of the backside of DARK WAYZ after work... But I agree, spare tires, tire poke and nice LEDs are a perfect solution to all the "rectangular-ness" of our views from behind.

Any other pics? I am researching the Gladiator as my next truck and I feel the 12.5' wide tires are just too big and will cause reliability issue later.
Snapped a few more to hopefully show how little poke there is.
Tried to center the edge of the fender flare in the frame to give it an accurate representation.

It's the taillights that look worse than anything, especially the halogen stop signs. I've enjoyed my oracles for a year and a half. Programming with JSCAN coming from halogen has worked well for me.

Those look so much better than stock! I am glad to know you have had the Oracle tail lights for over and 1.5 years and I assume no problems. I intend to do the same and have the JL Mini Tazer to do the update to LED.

Love my Gladiator from every angle except the rear. The Rubicon/Mohave helps but still off in my mind. I think it is mostly the look of the back of the cab. Anyways, going through the 35 vs 37, lift decision making process and I think I have figured out that it may be the width of the tires that is throwing me off.

Anyone else have OCD like me, lol?

I think when I look at the back of a Gladiator with a little tire poke, it looks a lot better. Not a huge poke but maybe 2 inch poke or something like that? I think it balances out the square look?
Looks good to me lol

I might as well brighten up this thread a little.
