It is a combination of two products. The first is a JL / JT grab bar 20 mm ball mount from Carolina Metal Masters Offroad. CMM Offroad also has a 1” ball if you prefer the RAM mount products. The second part is a 67 Design, JL / Gladiator Mount Driver Edition Pack. The primary reason I decided to use this combination is that I prefer not having the cell phone blocking part of the windshield or view of the road. It is within an arm’s reach away and also close to the USB charging ports. Additionally, it has the flexibility to raise or lower the cell phone to one’s preference. You can also buy longer arms from 67 Design as well. All of the products are a bit expensive but really high quality.

I am also not a fan of blocking the view or drilling or putting sticky tape on my new Jeep.
Here is a solution I came up recently with that's compatible with all AMPS holders out there (RAM, 67d, etc..)

https://getoffroam.com

Air vent retains most of its airflow and you can still aim it too +/-15deg - so if you are wheeling in South Texas you will get the AC flow (and heat if you are up north)

If you mount it with 67d or RAM arms you can point your phone (or Garmin, or CB radio, etc) away from the vent to avoid overheating.

What do you guys think? Any honest feedback is very welcome!

Does anyone know what bolt thread the Jeep grab Handle is? The bolt I took out is a very steep pitch and the one that came with the Ram mount do not match.

IMHO, if you don’t need to look at your phone all of the time, Gibson leather has hands down the best solution.
