I have accumulated a lot of RAM mount stuff over the years so the RAM t slot rail was a no brained for me, love their stuff.

Imo its CMM with ram mount and scosche magic mount /thread

1. Its sturdy asf
2. Its very clean looking and not nearly as obtrusive as all these other mounts
3. Its very easy to slap your phone on and pull it back off
4. It does not cross your infotainment system with a wire when plugged in

I am typically pickier than most but to me this is the best mount I could find. Pricey but buy once cry once.

Love the solid build of RAM Mounts, been using them for years, so many options and reasonable still IMO.

I made mine from sheet metal. It is like the Proclip but all metal and nonadjustable. It holds the phone very securely and I don't have to worry about the ball slipping. I use it to run google maps while the stereo display is for rear view camera on the camper.

I know this is an old post, but do you happen to have a picture from the side? What does it hook to in the front?
